Houston Independent School District (HISD) recently installed an Oce VarioPrint i300 sheet-fed production inkjet press from Canon – the first sheet-fed inkjet production press to be installed at an in-plant. During this session, Chuck will dive into the details of how and why HISD made the transition to Inkjet. He will discuss the advantages of Inkjet technology, why it’s worth considering, who could use it best, and the benefits it has brought to HISD. Paper, operating economics, and how Inkjet compares to other print technologies will also be explored.
